Portibelly Sound Attenuation Compulsion Evokes Memories of Wummin Signing "And now the Gallery"
The boay Yan, lately i this parish, wis thru oan Settirdiy fur a visit n he wis telln me aboot his OCD-like efforts ti stoap the noise i seagulls, crashing waves n ice cream van jingles cumn thru his bedroom ventilator yasein cardboard origami. Anyweys, ti cut a lang story shoart, it goat me thinkn aboot this programme fi the gid auld days. Vision On - mind it?
Some of 'Vision On' kinda creeped me out, like Tony Hart painting a dinosaur on a piece of tarmac with a road painter and then it coming to life. Plus I think it was the lack of anybody speaking, it being a programme aimed at the deaf. I couldn't understand why nobody said anything.
