I must ken ye, I left Hillcrest in the early 70s n moved to Dawson Place. We lived at No.30 fur years mun.
Next door we had Tam Murray - Drum Major i the BP Pipe Band (formerly Muirheeds Pipe band, the yin that wiz in Casino Royale). They moved to South Afrika n Big John n Mary Weir (RIP) were oor next door neeboors.
By the way I thocht the foty wis of the auld Bond at Kinneil that burned doon in 1988...
