Bo'ness & Carriden Roll of Honour - WW2

 
 The Bo'ness and Carriden Parishes Roll of Honour contains a list of everyone from the 2 parishes who served in all of the forces in WW2 and includes their address, serial number and date of joining up.  It has 1893 men and women listed, plus the 117 who were killed in action or died of wounds, and another 20 from the Merchant Navy who died at sea.
 
The books were gifted to 1553 recipients and were distributedin the Town Hall on Sunday 23rd February 1947 along with a monetary gift of £2 each. Thereafter a Service was held in the Glebe Park at 3pm.

Several copies of this book are held in Bo'ness Library.
