Triumphant!
The victorious winning Grangepans Thistle squad celebrate winning the Subbuteo Cup by beating Links United at Shore Park in 197?
The final score was 11-10, despite Thistle leading 10-nil at halftime.
In the 63rd minute Scott McKenzie was dismissed by referee Jimmy Simpson for ungentlemanly conduct. With Thistle reduced to four men, United sniffed a chance of glory, and inspired by their goalkeeper Chuddy, began a brave but ultimately vain fightback.
So the Cup came home to rest in Grangepans for the first, and last, time.
