Fanny Tree Remembered

I was down in Grange Terrace last night and can confirm that Superplumb's observations are correct - the Fanny tree is gone.

But all is not lost, as i managed to obtain a large slice of the trunk. I was wondering if anyone wanted a bit?

These fine pieces of solid willow are hand cut and lovingly finished. Perhaps you can hold your bit of Fanny every night, caress it or rub it between your fingers, as a constant reminder of happier times in our youth when we would loll aboot in the branches and shout verbal abuse at passers by oan the Links.

If anyone would like a piece as a souvenir they can be obtained from me, price £10 a skelf.
