How Silly Can You Get?

FILMS OF THE 1980s. When lazy Channel 4 broadcasters and movie magazines make their lists of 'Funniest Films Ever Made' they either miss out one of the best or shove it way behind some Adam Sandler pile of poo. Yes, it's 'Top Secret!', the 'other' Abrahams/Zucker/Abrahams movie. And I think it is funnier than 'Airplane' as it is not limited to the disaster genre, taking in Elvis Presley movies, Westerns (the fight underwater), spy movies, war movies - even surfing movies (remember 'Skeet Surfing'?). Or does everybody else think 'Airplane' is funnier? Or do some think they are both a pile of jobbies? It's certainly the best thing Val Kilmer's ever appeared in, and that includes 'Batman Forever'.

I know a little German. He's sitting over there.
Fantastic. The Police Squad series was great too. It was on at 7 o'clock on a Thursday though, up against TOTP so caused arguments in those pre-video days. Kilmer was guid in The Doors as well tho.
