R.I.P. Ferenc Puskas
One of Scotland's footballing heroes has died. Not a Scottish footballer but the captain of the Hungary team who beat England 6-3 at Wembley in the 1950s, the first time England were beaten at Wembley. He's also the subject of a Half-Man Half-Biscuit song - '1966 And All That'.
Puskas also dazzled the crowds at Hampden Park during Real Madrid's famous 7-3 European Cup victory over Eintracht Frankfurt in 1963, a match regarded by many as the finest club game of all time. Aw it the age i 33 tae.
This site wis set up by a group i bored thirtysumhings who grew up thegithir in Bo'ness, a quaint former whaling port and mining town oan the banks i the Michty River Forth windin thru the Glens i Scotland.
