Over-cautious?
This maybe a piece of scaremongering to affect the xmas sales, but it should still make you a little wary of going to "malls" on a certain date. There is a story going round the town about an elderly woman from Livingston who was walking behind an Asian gent when he dropped his wallet, seeing the wallet on the floor the elderly woman shouted on the Asian and handed him his wallet, the Asian was grateful and tried to hand the lady a reward, when she refused he told her to "Do herself a favour and avoid the Macarthur Glen and Braehead shopping centres on Saturday 16th December" on hearing this the lady reported it to the police. So take this story as you will, but I for one will be nowhere near any shopping centres on that date, hopefully it's bullshit and nowt will happen but in todays climate can we be sure?

Ah wiz a bit skepticul until ah heard a story aboot an auld wummin in Lithgi pickin up a sneck that a local alky hud dropped oot his trooser pocket, an returned it tae the grateful jaikie. Huvin nay reward tae gie her fur the half snout, he advised her to avoid cafe's in Lithgi on Saturday 30th December as there wus rumours i chemical warfare startin in yin i thum. He'd overheard a coded message while haein a piece oan dook. Aparently the emmissions wull start the mornin followin a "Boo bisnich toot". Call me Doctor Conspiricy-Theory or Mr Grassy-Knoll, but ye'll no find me in any cafe in Lithgi oan the 30th December.
