I decided to make a Battenberg Cake tonight and this is what it should look like as per the recipe book.
However, after following the recipe diligently this is what I actually made:

Ah don't know Nevets. Bakin cakes and day trips ti the Trossachs. Wish ah wis single again.
The cake looks strangely violated - like yon American Pie movie.....
