West Pier Tavern

Here is an image of the West Pier Tavern from the 1960s (?) which I stole off The Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Scotland here. I couldn't lift many photos off of it, but there are some of the BU Club from the 1960s before the houses on Boundary Street were built here (just click on the thumbnails). Some here of Philpingstone Lane in the houses which I think we vandalised prior to demoliton. Just put "Bo'ness" into the search engine and click on anything with "Digital Image".

Was Boondary Street so named as it was the demarkashun point between Gpans/Brigneez n the rest o civilizashin?

In the same way as the Romans used the Antonine Wall to separate civil eye'zd Roman Britain fi Central Region and beyond.

Mind you, if i remember richtly, wisny Caledonia/the Picts etc, no in West Lothian prior to the Antonine Wa' bn built? Hence the EH51 post code...
