I see in the Jurnal that the Victoria park is due for some work by the Community Woodland Trust - no before time tae! Huv yees been doon there lately? A fkn disgrace. The scene of so many childhood memories and scrapes is now an overgrown wilderness. Nae wonder bairns these days dinny want ti go oot & play.
But am a wee bit concerned that these Trust folk go ower the top wi the chainsaws n that - they better no even think aboot choppin doon the Fanny Tree or the Helicopter Tree.
