A couple of posts ago I told you aboot the designer Madeline Rogers who decided to call her table lamp shade design efter"Bo'ness". That's the pattern above.
I wis curious to find out the reasoning behind this fascinating design so decided to email her at her website. I asked her if the 'cream and bleck' represented the creativity of Bo'ness in it's industrial hey day, with the 'orange centre' indicative of the fact that the Summer Sun is always Gleaming over our wee toon.
Sadly, i have to report that Ms Rogers has responded by saying it had nothing to do with this.
In fact she chose the name oot i her UK Road Atlas.
Never mind ay.
